MDIC Child + Family Resource Fair

Another one of our programs/event we support Placer County MDIC and Children's Advocacy Center Child + Family Resource Fair. The fair hosted over 300+ children and families. While MDIC is the county's premier child interview center they also work to prevent child abuse through resource fairs and education. Learn more at placer.ca.gov/MDIC

Richard’s Run

We joined survivor Rachel to honor her brother Richard by launching 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥'𝘴 𝘙𝘶𝘯 - 𝘙𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘯. Richard was a victim of domestic violence homicide at two years old. Big Day of Giving

We participated in Big Day of Giving with the goal to roll up our sleeves and work alongside our victims and community members to help solve issues affecting Placer County and beyond. We believe this foundation is the start of something impactful and lasting.  

Summer Criminal Justice Workshop

Our first Summer Criminal Justice Summer Workshop was a success! A program of the Placer County District Attorney's Office - this workshop is designed to train more civic-oriented youth in our community to have a better understanding of our criminal justice system! Placer PROTECT Senior Resource Fair

We volunteered and supported the Placer County PROTECT Senior Resource Fair with hundreds of attendees, dozens of local vendors and more.

1 Pill Can Kill Parent Information Night

  Laura is our incredible board Treasurer who shares the story of the loss of her son Spencer in order to save lives. She spoke with the Placer County District Attorney's Office at Buljan Middle School in Roseville at to discuss the fentanyl crisis in our community. She does this often throughout the community!  

Walk Like MADD

Our board member Tammy Morgan-Foglia joined the Placer County District Attorney's Office at the Walk Like MADD event. We are honored to support such an amazing organization that fights to keep our communities safe against drunk driving!

The Placer Justice Foundation board participated in the Placer DA's Fentanyl PSA Premiere event. The premiere hosted over 230 community members and resulted in 50,000 views of the PSA at launch. View the PSA here.
