The (Em)Power + Resilience (E+R) Project is a survivor-centered initiative designed to elevate advocacy, strengthen peer support, and empower victims to find their voice within the justice system and beyond.

The E+R Project:

  • Supports survivor advocacy at the local and state level
  • Facilitates a peer-to-peer network where survivors can connect, share experiences, and build strength together
  • Sponsors participation in California Advocacy Day and other public safety forums
  • Elevates survivor voices in policy conversations and community initiatives
  • Provides court process support through the Victim Services Unit, empowerment tools, and practical resources
  • Encourages leadership, healing, and long-term resilience

This program focuses on empowerment — ensuring survivors are not only supported, but positioned to lead, advocate, and shape safer communities.
