At the 2026 Victim & Survivor Brunch, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office proudly unveiled an exciting new vision for the future of victim support in our community: the proposed Placer County Victim & Survivor Memorial Park.
This future memorial park is envisioned as a permanent place of remembrance, healing, reflection, and community connection—honoring victims, uplifting survivors, supporting loved ones, and recognizing the crime fighters who stand beside them every day.
The proposed park concept includes:
- A large memorial wing sculpture inspired by the Empower + Resilience Project
- A memorial dedication wall honoring loved ones
- Open lawn and gathering spaces for community events and wellness activities
- Reflection seating and sanctuary areas
- Opportunities for community and business partnerships through legacy contributions and inspirational dedications
We Are Now Entering the Planning Phase
As we begin the next chapter of this legacy project, we are calling on:
