Laura Collanton

Laura has been a physical therapist for nearly three decades, working across a variety of clinical settings and currently serving seniors through home health care.
She joined the Placer Justice Foundation at its inception to continue giving back to the Placer community and to support victims and survivors at a local level. Following the loss of her oldest child in 2020, Laura became deeply committed to advocacy, prevention, grief education, and community outreach—particularly focused on youth.
Serving on the Board of the Placer Justice Foundation is a natural extension of both her professional values and her personal commitment to helping prevent future tragedies while supporting individuals and families impacted by crime.
